My Name is Mia and I am a recent graduate of Film and Media Studies from the University of Stirling in Scotland. My lifelong dream is to work as Director of Photography on high end TV shows and feature films … but for the moment I’m just looking to get my foot in the door and build up my professional experience!
I am passionate about being behind the camera and I am actively looking for jobs in the camera dept – scripted, unscripted and commercial. I have worked with a wide range of cameras from SONY FX6 to RED EPIC DRAGON on both narrative and unscripted projects. Having taken photographs from a young age, I’m used to taking the hands-on approach and I’m not afraid to experiment. I have a good understanding of how to manipulate aspects such as lighting to nail exposure, and when it comes to focus I have experience using Tilta and Smallrig wireless follow focus systems. I’m always keen to expand my technical skills and knowledge.
